Hello Folks!!! In this post, I’ll give my thoughts on Flagship’s Matte Paste, said to be the strongest matte paste ever! Let’s see if it’s really that strong.

1.Scent: Lime and Bergamot

2.Consistency: sticky, you should use back of your nail to scoop out.

3.Breakdown: sticky, no wonder, because it has so much wax content.

4.Application: Having applied little amount at a time, it doesn’t pull your hair that much.

5.Control: It gradually works its way up, and it’s pretty good.

6.Hold: Firm, but since it’s a paste, it’s designed for loose looks, so it’s different from those “firm” of pomades.

7.Volume: beautiful volume here folks

8.Finish: absolutely matte and dry

9.Endurance: Looking from the photos, at 8 hours mark, it clearly deflates. I applied 6 small scoops (about the size of my index nail). I managed to regain the volume with my fingers, but it will not stay forever. FYI, I am kind of people who like the pomade that hold hair in place all day long, because my hair is thick, strong and straight (Asian)! I also used pre and post styling technique, it increased the matte level but not endurance.

10.Restylability: easy, soft, respond well with either comb or fingers.

11.Washability: 1-2 round of shampoo

12.Packaging: Plastic jar with silver metallic label

13.Ingredients: Healthy ingredient is must-have for homebrew nowadays!
